87.Project of International Pharmaceutical Industrial Park in Shijiazhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone
I. Project Briefing and Scale
The project is planned to cover an area of 13.3 hectares, and mainly focuses on the construction of the R&D base, workshop, storage and logistics, to introduce foreign biomedical enterprises and high-end equipment manufacturing enterprises.
II. Total Investment & Expected Foreign Capital
The total estimated investment of the project is USD 120 million, and it plans to use foreign investment of USD 120 million.
III. Market Analysis
The bioengineering and pharmaceutical industry scale has experienced substantial expansion in the past 10 years and this industry is gradually becoming the fastest growing field in the global pharmaceutical health market. In terms of high-end equipment manufacturing, the state has made a proposal to develop a batch of large-scale enterprises with strong competitiveness and independent intellectual property rights.
IV. Evaluation of Economic Benefit
The annual revenue is expected to be no less than RMB 1 billion once the project is put into operation.
V. Opportunities & Favourable Conditions
For Shijiazhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the land inside the enclosure of this Zone has been completely purchased and stored, and the infrastructure is adequate with convenient transportation.
VI. Introduction to the Chinese Partner
Shijiazhuang Comprehensive Bonded Zone was set up with the approval of the State Council in September 2014 and has a planning area of 2.86 km². It is composed of five functional areas, namely, the port logistics area, the bonded logistics area, the bonded processing area, the bonded service area and the trade function area, with the focus on four industry systems including high-end manufacturing, modern logistics, international trade and innovative service.
